Outdoor pillows that genuinely stay outside

Of the three things we make, this is the one that lives outdoors all season without being brought in. The supplier states it plainly, which is more than most do: spun polyester, UV resistant and water resistant. The rug tolerates weather. The pillow ignores it.

Two shapes, and they do different jobs

  • 18″ × 18″ square. The standard. Two on a bench, one in each corner of a two-seater, or a pair on a lounger.
  • 20″ × 14″ lumbar. The one that gets used. A lumbar sits at the base of the spine on a deep outdoor seat, which is where most patio furniture is least comfortable. If you are buying one pillow rather than three, buy this shape.

Both are printed on both sides, so there is no wrong way round and no faded reverse to hide.

Care

Spot clean only. The cover is sewn shut around a sturdy fill rather than zipped, so it does not come off and it cannot go in a machine. Blot spills, spot clean with mild detergent, and let it dry in open air.

That closed seam is the trade-off for a pillow that holds its shape and does not gape. If you want a washable cover, this is not that product.
