About Horizon Rugs

Horizon Rugs exists because outdoor rugs are the most under-thought purchase in outdoor living. People spend months choosing furniture and then buy whatever rug is on the end cap at the hardware store — and then wonder why it's faded, curling and growing mildew by August.

What we do differently

Every rug we sell is chosen against the same short list of questions. Does the colour survive a full American summer of direct sun? Does water drain through it or sit on it? Can you clean it with a garden hose in ten minutes? Will it still look right in three years?

If the answer to any of those is no, it doesn't go in the range. That's the whole filter.

What we sell

Outdoor rugs — four rectangular sizes, from a 24" × 36" doormat scale up to 60" × 84". This is deliberately a small-to-mid-size range, built for the spaces that actually need a rug: balconies, front doors, covered porches, grill zones, bistro seating and campsite pads. Alongside them we carry outdoor pillows, blankets and rug pads.

How we think about size

The most common thing that goes wrong with an outdoor rug is buying the wrong size. We publish a full size guide that tells you plainly when your patio needs something larger than we make — we'd rather lose the sale than have a 5×7 sitting uselessly under a six-seat dining table.

Across the United States. Orders leave our US fulfilment partners, so nothing crosses an ocean to reach your porch.
