Sizing
What sizes do you make?
Four, all rectangular: 24" × 36", 36" × 60", 48" × 72" and 60" × 84". We don't currently make round rugs, runners or anything larger.
What size do I need?
Measure your furniture footprint and add 24 inches on each side you want covered. Our size guide works through it setup by setup, and is honest about when your space needs something bigger than we make.
Will the largest size fit under my dining set?
60" × 84" covers a bistro table with two chairs. A four-seat set needs 6×9 and a six-seat set needs 8×10 — both larger than our range.
Will the size be exact?
Close, not exact. 48" × 72" and below can vary up to ±3.5"; 60" × 84" up to ±7.5". That's normal for woven textiles.
Materials & durability
What are the rugs made of?
100% polyester chenille, with a no-skid polyester backing and hemmed edges. Chenille has an even, plush pile that resists pilling and wrinkling and feels soft underfoot.
Are they waterproof?
They're water-resistant and mildew-resistant rather than sealed. The real advantage is drying speed — chenille dries unusually fast for a pile fabric, so a rug that gets rained on is usable again in about an hour instead of staying damp for days.
Will the colour fade in the sun?
The design is printed directly onto the fabric using modern techniques that keep colours bright and crisp. As with any outdoor textile, a rug in relentless direct sun will soften in colour faster than one under a pergola.
Do outdoor rugs get hot in the sun?
Far less than bare decking or concrete — the pile insulates. Darker colours still run warmer, so for a south-facing patio choose a lighter one.
Care & cleaning
How do I clean it?
Sweep or shake weekly, blot spills immediately, and spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The care label says spot clean only, dry clean. Full instructions in our cleaning guide.
Can I hose it down or pressure wash it?
Don't pressure wash — a narrow jet cuts the pile and lifts the backing, and that damage is permanent. Avoid soaking the rug too: chenille holds water in the pile. Spot cleaning handles almost everything.
Can I put it in the washing machine?
No. The rug is too large and too stiff, and machine agitation separates the backing from the face.
How fast does it dry?
Fast — this is the fabric's best trick. Stand it on edge or hang it over a railing after rain and an hour of moving air does most of the work.
Decks & surfaces
Will a rug damage my wood deck?
Not if you lift it after heavy rain and let both the rug and the boards dry. The damage people worry about comes from trapped moisture, not from the rug. Details in our deck guide.
Do I need a rug pad?
Not for grip — the no-skid backing handles that on decking, concrete and pavers. A pad is only worth it if you want extra cushioning.
How do I stop it blowing away?
The backing holds it on most surfaces. In real wind, furniture on top is the reliable fix; on grass, landscape staples. See the full breakdown.
Orders
How much is shipping?
Free on every US order. The price on the product page already includes it — nothing is added at checkout. Order more than one rug and the additional cartons are charged and shown before you pay.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes — Canada, the UK, Europe and most of the rest of the world. International shipping is calculated at checkout, and orders may attract import duties charged by your local authorities.
When will my order arrive?
1–2 business days to process, then 2–5 business days in the US. Full table on our shipping page.
Can I return a rug?
Yes — 30 days, unused. Details on our returns page.
