A fine black-and-white check printed on midweight fleece, thick and fluffy on both sides with the reverse in matching plain fleece. The grid is tight enough that it never reads as a novelty blanket — it works draped over a lounger in daylight just as well as it does round a fire pit after dark.
315 gsm polyester fleece that retains its shape and dries quickly, which is exactly what makes it the right blanket to take outside: evening dew doesn't leave you with something damp for the rest of the night. This one goes out and comes back in — it isn't built to live in the weather. Three sizes, from a lap throw to one that covers two.

All measurements refer to the finished blanket.
- 30" × 40" — lap throw. One person in a chair, or a child.
- 50" × 60" — standard throw. The everyday size for a lounger or bench.
- 60" × 80" — large throw. Two people round a fire pit.
If it's going to live in the car or a picnic basket, the 50" × 60" is the one that folds down small and still covers two people at a push.

100% polyester fleece, 315 gsm
Midweight fleece at 0.1" (2 mm) thick — thick and fluffy on both sides, soft to the touch, and strong enough to hold its shape season after season.
Dries quickly
Polyester barely absorbs water, which is what makes fleece the right blanket to take outside. Evening dew or a spilled drink doesn't leave you with a damp blanket for the rest of the night.
One-sided print
The design is printed on the front face. The reverse is the same soft fleece in a matching tone.
Hemmed edges
Sewn all the way around so it holds its shape and doesn't fray, with the seam thread colour automatically matched to the design.

Care & cleaning
Machine wash separately, cold (max 30°C / 90°F), gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low heat.
Do not bleach. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Everyday care
- Wash it on its own the first time — fleece sheds a little lint early on
- Skip fabric softener; it coats the fibres and flattens the pile
- Keep it away from fire-pit sparks and open flame — polyester melts rather than chars
- Shake it out and let it air after use; it dries fast, but it isn't meant to live outside in the weather
